Creation Care Singapore
We are a group of Christians who hope to raise awareness for Creation Care as an integral aspect of Christianity, and inspire and equip Christians to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.
We believe that Creation Care is humankind's God-given duty, for we are stewards of this earth and its abundance of resources that God has blessed us with. By getting conversations about environmental issues going, we hope to encourage churches individuals to speak out more on such topics, and thus help to make Singapore more sustainable.
But beyond encouraging Christians to adopt habits that protect the environment, care for creation ultimately points us to the Creator - the beauty and complexity of the world we live in was made to glorify the One who crafted it.

Our Story
How We Started Creation Care Singapore
Creation care is a relatively new concept in Singapore. However, it has roots in Genesis, when God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it (Genesis 2:15).
We noticed that there is a dearth of resources on creation care that is tailored for our local Singaporean context, and decided that we needed to do something about it - marking the start of our journey towards launching this Instagram page.

The idea of an ecosystem inspired our logo as we reflected on the need to have a right relationship with creation. Etymologically, the word ecosystem derives from the Greek oikos, meaning "home," and systema, or "system." On earth which is our home where God has placed us to grow and flourish, we hope to remember that as human beings, we live in a complex system of wondrous interdependence with the rest of creation.
"We are stewards, not masters of our earth. Each of us has a personal responsibility to care for the precious gift of God’s creation."
— Pope Francis
